Why Carbon Offsetting?

Increased Carbon Dioxide (CO²e) emissions in the atmosphere are the biggest cause of Global Warming on our Planet. By planting trees and funding carbon offsetting projects, we remove and prevent further CO²e emissions around the globe in the most cost effective and impactful way.

Our everyday actions, at home and at work, consume energy and produce carbon emissions, such as driving, flying and heating buildings. Carbon offsetting is used to balance out these emissions by helping to pay for emission savings in other parts of the world.

Small Changes, BIG Impacts

Redec’s office has reduced the paper usage, by introducing new software solutions that require less physical printing on to paper.
We have also introduced shipping orders in reused boxes where possible and where this is not possible boxes made from recycled materials are used. we have replaced all of our Halogen light bulbs for a more sustainable alternative LED light bulb, with all our changes it is helping reduce the size of our company’s carbon footprint with all these small changes we should be in a position in the coming years to change our status from a carbon neutral company to a carbon negative. 

Environmental Impact

We are committed to reducing waste and reducing our impact on the environment.
The Distributor Take back Scheme (DTS) has allowed us to make a financial contribution, which will be used to help set up WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) collection facilities throughout the UK Redec industrial Ltd have signed up to Carbon Neutral Britain who through their woodland fund help offset our carbon foot print. By calculating and offsetting our carbon footprints, we can reverse the impact that we have on climate change.
